
Ingredients
1 cup flour (your choice)
1/2 cup egg (Just Egg) wash
dash of smoke
2 tbsp oil
1 lb maitake mushrooms
Spices
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp sage
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions
Add a dash of liquid smoke to the egg and set aside.
Mix spices with flour in a separate bowl and set aside.
Cut Maitake mushroom lengthwise into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices.
Over medium heat, heat oil. Dredge mushrooms in egg and then flour mixture. Fry four minutes, flip and fry an additional four minutes.
