Sausage and Mash

Sometimes delicious doesn’t have to mean a ton of work. After a long day, we chose to make some things, cheat on some others, and open a package. Still a great meal!

Ingredients
2 Sausages (Better Burger)
Mashed Potatoes

cooking spray
1/2 cup onions, diced
1 cup vegetable broth
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp white pepper

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp gluten-free flour

Preparation
Lightly spray skillet with cooking oil. Over medium heat, sautee sausages for 2-3 minutes, to brown lightly. Add onions and cook 1-2 minutes until they start to brown.

Add vegetable broth and spices.

Melt butter, stir in flour. Mix slowly into skillet until vegetable broth thickens into a brown, onion gravy. Serve over mashed potatoes.
